Booking requests must contain the following information:

• Full name of each passenger
• Date of arrival/date of departure • Passport number
• Nationality
• Date of birth
• Program or service in request
• Port of entry/departure

Requests will be answered with a maximum of 24 hour time. Bookings will be kept for a max. of 15 days on a tentative status. Within this period we must receive a written confirmation along with the pre-payment requested equivalent to 15% of the total services booked. Balance must be paid at least 30 days prior to arrival date.

A group is considered with a min. of 20 passengers.
1 passenger will be FOC, on double occupancy, per every 20 paying guests.

Each time a reservation needs to be modified, it must be requested through the Operator or Travel Agency that made the reservation, in writing. It must clearly indicate what needs to be changed, making reference to the reservation number already assigned. The confirmation will be subject to availability.

The Operator or Travel Agency must issue the corresponding voucher for each reservation, guaranteeing that the booking has been fully paid.

The commission over the costs of programs and services offered by LAKUTAIA are clearly indicated in the rates chart.

• A pre-payment equivalent to 15% of the total services must be done to confirm the booking. Balance due is 30 days prior to arrival date.
• Individual and/or group bookings requested with less than 30 days prior to date of arrival, must be fully paid within the next 48 hours after receiving our confirmation number.

• If the payment policies are not accomplished as stated, Turismo y Hoteles Navarino Ltda has the faculty to cancel the reservation(s). • Turismo y Hoteles Navarino Ltda. has the right to modify the policies stated, asking for fully payment in advance, according to the demand of the period involved.

In order to be excluded of paying the 19% tax according to Chilean laws, it is mandatory for all foreign guests to show the passport along with the Chile entry card at the moment of checking-in at the lodge.

• Cancellations made between 60 and 31 days prior to arrival date, 15% penalty will apply.
• Cancellations made between 30 and 16 days prior to arrival date, 50% penalty will apply.

• Cancellations made with 15 days or less prior to arrival date, 100% of total booking will be charged.

Credit Cards
• Main credit cards are accepted.
• Payments made with credit cards must first fill in an Authorization of Charge Form and send it by email, along with a photocopy of the credit card of both sides, as well as a copy of an ID document showing the client’s signature.

Remark: LAKUTAIA Lodge will invoice the Operator for the total of the program, and it will be the responsibility of the Operator to issue the corresponding commission invoice. The operator must discount the agreed commission before transferring the payment.

• Babies aged up to 1 year and 11 months are free of charge.
• Children from 2 to 8 years old have a 40% discount of the total cost.

EARLY DEPARTURES:
No reimbursement is applicable if a passenger checks-out prior to the booking confirmation date.

LATE ARRIVALS:
If a passenger checks-in after the date of the original reservation, no reimbursement will be made, unless the late arrival was due to the cancellation of the flight from Punta Arenas, or the cancellation of the navigation from Ushuaia, but this policy will only apply if those tickets were bought through Lakutaia Lodge. Being this the case, 25% discount will apply on the lodging cost and 100% on the meals item.

LATE DEPARTURES:
If a passenger checks-out after the date of the original reservation, 100% of the extra costs will be charged, unless the late departure is due to the cancellation of the flight to Punta Arenas, or the cancellation of the navigation to Ushuaia, but this policy will only apply if those tickets were bought through Lakutaia Lodge. Being this the case, 25% discount will apply on the additional lodging cost. No discounts on meals (food & beverages).

One of the pillars of our company is the safety of our guests, so we reserve the right to change itinerary and / or cancel activities according to weather conditions, supporting the decision of the specialized guide.

REINBURSEMENT POLICIES DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS:
• If a scenic over-flight is cancelled, 90% of the total cost will be refunded.
• If an excursion/navigation is cancelled, 90% of the total cost will be refunded.
• If Dientes de Navarino Program is cancelled, no reimbursement will apply as guests will stay at the lodge, including daily meals. • If any other activity included in the All Included Programs is cancelled, no reimbursement will be done.
